The RED HOT POKERS "rock" to the sounds of "roots" Rock & Roll, which took the world by storm in the 1950's & 1960's, 70's Classic "party rock", and even some authentic country & rockabilly!  The RED HOT POKERS have a repertoire of "rockin & groovin" songs by 50's legends such as Elvis, Chuck Berry, and Del Shannon, 60's British Invasion hits by artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks , 60's Motown and instrumental "surf" classics, and country hits by Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. This trio will be sure to have you "twistin & shoutin" as you be-bop on the dance floor with the music that changed the world forever!

The RED HOT POKERS have collectively played with national artists such as Bo Diddley, Dr John, Robin Lane, Susan Tedeschi, Hearts On Fire as well as blues legends Jr Wells and Johnny Copeland. The trio has also played with local favorites such as Nicole Nelson, Barrence Whitfield & The Savages, Gerry Portnoy, Shirley Lewis, The Fabulous Roys and Four Piece Suit. They also provided sound tracks for TV such as HBO's "Sex And The City", "Ed" as well as supply sound track music for independent films featured at the famous Cannes Film Festival.

 

 

DAVID "ROY" KULIK

Lead vocalist and drummer David "Roy" Kulik pulls no punches with his beefy, full powered voice, his rock steady drumming and his engaging and humorous rapport with the audience. From Elvis to Sinatra to Chuck Berry to The Rolling Stones, David's vocal style cover's many generations.

MILT REDER

Guitarist and vocalist Milt Reder amazes audiences with his blistering solos and rhythmic drive. Milt's melodic harmonies and soulful vocals complete the RED HOT POKERS sound. Milt and David "Roy's" vocal chemistry is reminiscent of the classic sounds of retro Rock & Roll.

DEAN CASSELL

Bass guitarist Dean Cassell is the "real McCoy".  His playing is deeply rooted in the R&B tradition of  Motown's greatest rhythm players and also has a deep history of American popular music - from the earliest Rock & Roll to the present day. Versatility at its best!
